In Custody Alcohol, drug charges Patrick Gonzales, 19, 401 Alamo, El Campo, was booked into the Wharton County Jail on Thursday for driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana. He was released on $5,000 bond at 9 a.m. Thursday. David Rene Ballejo, 29, Juanita St., Hungerford, was booked on Thursday for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, theft of a firearm and endangering a child. He was still in custody on a $60,000 bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday. Gerardo Villanueva, 33, 4233 Eagle, McAllen, was booked on Wednesday for possession of marijuana. He was released at 10:30 a.m. Thursday because a warrant was recalled by Navarro County. Landon Joseph Rabius, 26, 15238 Jeanne, Wallis, was booked on Wednesday for a driving while intoxicated-parole violation. He was still in custody on $10,000 bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday. Jason Wainwright, 30, 1286 Hwy. 156, Jachin, Ala., was booked at 2:25 a.m. Tuesday for driving while intoxicated. He was released on $2,500 bond at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday. Shaun Allen Jones, 17, FM 3012, Wharton, was booked on Monday for minor in possession alcohol, minor in possession tobacco, no driver's license, no insurance, no insurance warrant, failure to report address change-warrant, loud noise-warrant and failure to appear-warrant. He was released on $4,000 bond at 6 p.m. February 11. Edward Martin, 25, 2219 Karle, Rosenberg, was booked at 2:26 p.m. Monday for possession of a controlled substance-parole violation. He was still in custody as of 12 p.m. Thursday. Burglary, theft charges Lola Leopard Oneal, 45, 142 CR 164, Boling, was booked at 8:20 a.m. Thursday for theft and possession of stolen property. She was released on $2,500 bond at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Joseph Scott Schmidtke, 29, 520 Texas, Wharton, was booked at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday for a theft by check warrant from Harris County. He was released on $2,500 bond at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. Other Charges Virgil Talley, 42, 110 OJ Walter, Wharton, was booked Thursday for probation violation harassment. He was still in custody as of 12 p.m. Thursday. Steven Neil Snyder, 36, 611 5th, Van Vleck, was booked at 4:24 p.m. Wednesday for a hold for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. He was still in custody as of 12 p.m. Thursday. Shironda Lynn Malone, 30, 908 McGrew, El Campo, was booked on Wednesday for identification fraud and there was a motion to revoke probation. She was released on $15,000 bond at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Kenisha Aldridge, 20, 1217 W. Caney, Wharton, was booked at 12:21 p.m. Wednesday for no driver's license, no insurance and failure to appear. She was released at 1:55 Tuesday on $2,000 bond. Luis Fernandez Lopez, 28, 103 North, Louise, was booked at 1:25 a.m. Tuesday for evading arrest-parole violation. No bond was set and as of 12 p.m. Thursday he was being detained for INS. Jonathan Bruno, 36, 113 N. Rusk No. 3, Wharton, was booked at 9:21 a.m. Tuesday for driving with an expired license. He was still in custody as of 12 p.m. Thursday. Jail population as of 12 p.m. Thursday was 92 prisoners. "In Custody" is compiled from the public records of the Wharton County Sheriff's Department.
