Burglaries, thefts

Burglary of a building - Reported in the 700 block of N. Fulton St., Wharton, at 3:48 p.m. Sunday. Currency valued at $100 was reported stolen and a wooden door valued at $250 was reported damaged.

Theft - Reported at Murphy USA in Wharton at 2:45 p.m. Sunday. Fuel valued at $63.53 was reported stolen.

Burglary of a vehicle - Reported at the Red River Apartments in Wharton at 11:02 a.m. Sunday. A skill saw, reciprocal saw, 1.5-ton floor jack and an assortment of sockets were reported stolen.

Theft - Reported in the 1400 block of Crestmont, Wharton, at 10:42 a.m. Feb. 9. A mail box was reported stolen.

Burglary of vehicle - Reported at the Briar Point Apartments in Wharton at 10 a.m. Feb. 9. Two chain saws were reported stolen.

Burglary of vehicle - Reported at the Wharton Square Apartments in Wharton at 7 a.m. Feb. 8. A CD/receiver, 600-watt amplifier and speaker were reported stolen.

Assaults

Assault, class A - Reported in the 1700 block of N. Fulton, Wharton, at 7:42 p.m. Wednesday.

Assault, class A - Reported at Wharton High School at 2:43 p.m. Monday.

Assault - Reported in the 1100 block of CR 428, Wharton, at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 9.

Assault, class A - Reported in the 400 block of Abell St., Wharton, at 7:33 p.m. Feb. 8.

Criminal mischief

Criminal mischief - Reported in the 1300 block of Kingston Dr., Wharton, at 7:50 p.m. Monday.

Criminal mischief - Reported in the 1100 block of Briar Lane, Wharton, at 8:32 a.m. Feb. 9. A mail box was reported damaged by spray paint.

Other

Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle - Reported in the 300 block of Lincoln Ave., Wharton, at 2:22 a.m. Feb. 9.

Forgery - Reported at Leedo Mfg. Co., East Bernard, between 9 a.m. Feb. 4 and 10:15 a.m. Feb. 8. The total amount of forged checks was valued at $8,209.
