      Persons called for jury duty in Wharton County Court and have a jury summons for Monday, Feb. 4 at 9:30 a.m. can disregard the notice. Officials with the County Clerk's office said the jury has been canceled and those called need not report.

      AUSTIN - The University Interscholastic League made wholesale changes with its biennial realignment which was released Friday morning. It affects all five schools in Wharton County which will be in different numbered districts.
