EB Legion hosts annual fundraiser Feb. 10

American Legion Post No. 226 in East Bernard will host its annual Scholarship Fund Raiser on Sunday, Feb. 10, at the American Legion Hall.

Serving begins at 11 a.m. and lasts until the chicken runs out.

Meals are $7 each and consists of one-half of a chicken, cole slaw, beans, peaches and tea. Desserts will be available for purchase. There will be a drive-through line or dine-in services available.

An auction will begin at 12:30 p.m. along with a silent auction during the day.

A raffle drawing will be held for gift certificates ranging from $100 to $1,000.

Texas Legacy Czech Band will play for a free dance after the auction.

All proceeds from the event go to the American Legion Scholarship Fund.
