Grease comes to Plaza Theatre
      Thirty Years ago, 'Grease' hit the movie theaters and was an overnight success. The movie comes to life at the Plaza Theater in downtown Wharton next month. Performances are February 8-9-10, 15-16-17 and 22-23-24.

      The deadline to enter the Wharton County Youth Fair Queen Contest is Thursday, Feb. 14. Entry Forms are available at the Fair Office, and the Wharton County school counselors' offices. Queen, first and second runners up will receive scholarships and other prizes.

     Texas singer-songwriter Gary P. Nunn will play for the 2nd Annual Rio Colorado Chapter of the American Red Cross Bash on Friday, Feb. 15.
