Burglaries, thefts

Theft - Reported at Los Cucos, 211 W. Elm St., Wharton, at 7:30 p.m. Monday.

Burglary of a vehicle - Reported in the 200 block of Wallace St., East Bernard, between 4 p.m. Jan. 18 and 9 a.m. Monday. An impact wrench and electric screw gun valued at $480 were reported stolen.

Burglary of a vehicle - Reported in the 200 block of Stockton, East Bernard, between 6 p.m. Jan. 19 and 8 a.m. Sunday. A hearing aid valued at $1,500 was reported stolen.

Theft - Reported in the 500 block of Shannon Drive, East Bernard, between Nov. 26, 2007 and 8 a.m. Sunday. Jewelry and currency valued at $8,150 were reported stolen.

Theft - Reported at CR 207 and CR 211, East Bernard, between 6 p.m. Jan. 18 and 12 p.m. Jan. 19. Wheels and tires valued at $550 were reported stolen.

Theft - Reported at Wharton Inn, 1920 N. Richmond Road, Wharton, between Jan. 18 and 11:49 a.m. Jan. 19. Bed clothing and linens were reported stolen.

Burglary of a habitation - Reported on Texas 60 South, onequarter mile south of CR 126, Wharton, between Jan. 11 and 9:30 a.m. Jan. 17. An air-conditioner, sheet rock and copper wire valued at $4,400 were reported stolen.

Assaults

Class A assault - Two cases reported in the 700 block of North Rusk St., Wharton, between 12:40 a.m. and 12:43 a.m. Wednesday.

Class A assault - Two cases reported at Dairy Queen, 1321 N. Richmond Road, Wharton, between 7:10 p.m. and 7:13 p.m. Wednesday.

Class A assault - Reported at Iago Junior High, 200 Gift St., Iago, at 3 p.m. Jan. 16.

Assault-family violence - Reported in the 400 block of CR 255, Egypt, between 10 p.m. and 11:55 p.m. Jan. 16.

Criminal mischief

Criminal mischief - Reported near Hungerford on Texas 60 between Sunday and 2:59 a.m. Monday. Vehicle side mirrors valued at $300 were reported damaged.

Criminal mischief - Two cases reported in the 3300 block of FM 2614, Eagle Lake, between 9 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Jan. 19. Tires valued at $700 were reported stolen.
