Caney Creek food ministry orders distributed today

Caney Creek Church will be open from 9 to 11 a.m. for persons who ordered January Angel Food Ministries Boxes. There will be orders taken for February menus at the same time.

Angel Food Ministries is a local food ministry started in 1994 in Georgia. It started as a neighborhood ministry to help with the cost of groceries.

It has now grown to a ministry reaching into 32 states and has 3,000 local host sites in those states.

There is no qualifications for participate in the ministries. It is open to anyone and there is no limit to the quantity of food ordered. It is designed to help individuals save money on their food bills.

Menus for ordering are available at Caney Creek Church and set by Angle Food Ministries. Food stamps are accepted for payment.

Deadline for February orders is Feb. 17. Orders may be placed by going to Caney Creek Church 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
