Ivy gets degree

Melanie Ivy of Wharton has graduated from the University of Houston-Victoria.

Graduation ceremonies were held Dec. 9 at Leonard E. Merrell Center in Katy.

Ivy graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science in interdisciplinary studies.

Attending the ceremony to help her celebrate were her parents, brother, sister, fiancé and numerous other relatives and friends.
