Curious kids

Attendees this past weekend's Kid Safe Saturday get to see the equipment used in the PHI Air Med 9 air ambulance based in Richmond. The event was held at the Boys & Girls Club with 62 children attending ranging in age from kindergarten through fourth grade. There were presentations by DPS Trooper Gary, and the children got to tour a Wharton ambulance and Fire Truck. Four members of the Wharton Anchor Club at Wharton High School help present a Brain- Minders presentation to the children narrated by Pilot member. The event was sponsored by the Wharton Pilot Club.
