Anthony Shelton, 45, 407 Wharton, El Campo, was booked into Wharton County Jail at 8 a.m. Sunday for driving while intoxicated (second offense), open container, no insurance, no driver's license and no seat belt. He was held on $4,500 bond as of 1 p.m. Monday.

Ryan Christopher Herrera, 20, 641 W. Summers, Mathis, was booked on Sunday for possession of marijuana. He was released at 10:25 a.m. Monday on $5,000 bond.

Alfredo Guerra Campos, 38, 17817 Sago Palm, Penitas, was booked at 6 p.m. Sunday for manufacturing/ delivery of a controlled substance. He was held on $1 million bond as of 1 p.m. Monday.

Abelino Medina Jr., 21, 1202 Sam, El Campo, was booked at 6:52 a.m. Sunday on warrants for possession of a controlled substance, failure to appear and no driver's license. He was released at 10:45 a.m. Sunday on $1,500 bond.

Paul Jones Barner, 62, 1612 Cheyene, Portland, was booked at 1:32 a.m. Saturday for driving while intoxicated (second offense) and open container. He was released at 1:30 p.m. Saturday on $2,000 bond.

Juan F. Tijerina, 26, 9373 Hwy. 71, Danevang, was booked at 8:19 p.m. Thursday for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and driving while license invalid (second offense). He was released at 11:34 a.m. Friday on $6,000 bond.

Fredrick L. Harris, 26, 210 S. East Ave., Wharton, was booked at 8:01 p.m. Thursday for possession of marijuana. He was released at 11:45 a.m. Friday on $1,500 bond.

Burglary, theft charges

Zalda Baugh, 26, 618 N. Wilkes, Wharton, was booked at 3:15 p.m. Friday on a warrant for theft by check. She was released at 6 p.m. Friday on $500 bond.

Amber Wells, 26, 2406 Horn Rd., Bay City, was booked at 4:02 a.m. Friday on four warrants for theft by check. She was transferred Friday to Matagorda County Sheriff's Department.

Other charges

Jack Richardson, 23, 5730 FM 442, Boling, was booked at 12:15 p.m. Sunday for failure to appear, expired motor vehicle inspection, failure to signal, no insurance and warrants for no insurance and expired registration. He was held on $3,000 bond as of 1 p.m. Monday.

Arthuro Roberto Castillo, 35, 6711 Gwenyth, Boling, was booked at 6 a.m. Sunday on a warrant for injury to a child. He was released at 11 a.m. Monday on $20,000 bond.

Carmelo Medrano, 40, Rt. 3, Box 125, Lot No. 13, El Campo, was booked at 11:13 a.m. Sunday on warrants for terroristic threat and violating a protective order. He was held on $13,000 bond as of 1 p.m. Monday.

Christopher Allen Brod, 25, 3419 Fountain Dr., Rosenberg, was booked at 3:55 a.m. Sunday for probation violation. He was held as of 1 p.m. Monday.

Adam Andrade, 20, 5119 FM 1096, Wharton, was booked at 10:21 a.m. Saturday on a warrant for engaging in organized criminal activity. He was released at 11 a.m. Sunday on $5,000 bond.

Haralabos Panagtuopoulos, 18, of El Campo, was booked at 7 a.m. Saturday for tampering with a government record and failure to identify. He was released at 1:30 p.m. Saturday on $3,000 bond.

Jacolby Dejuan Dickerson, 19, 7611 Habermacher, Hungerford, was booked at 7:30 p.m. Friday for capias pro fines. He was held on $351 in fines as of 1 p.m. Monday.

Carlos Garcia, 45, 1033 Oasis, San Antonio, was booked at 5 p.m. Friday for bond forfeiture. He was held on $30,000 bond as of 1 p.m. Monday.

Ramiro Rodriguez, 18, 602 August, El Campo, was booked at 6:44 p.m. Friday on a warrant for criminal trespass. He was released at 11 a.m. Friday on $1,500 bond.

Jerold Jermaine Gray, 33, 210 CR 241, Wharton, was booked at 10:47 p.m. Thursday for parole violation. He was held without bond as of 1 p.m. Monday.

Gregory Navarro, 27, 210 S. East Ave., Wharton, was booked at 7:32 p.m. Thursday for capias pro fines. He was released at 4:30 p.m. Friday after paying fines.

Jose A. Ramirez, 36, 502 Main, Pasadena, was booked at 1:30 p.m. Thursday for probation violation, bench warrant and a Texas Department of Corrections hold. He was held as of 1 p.m. Monday.

Edward Raymo, 51, 7330 Rhobell, Houston, was booked at 1:30 p.m. Thursday on a bench warrant and Texas Department of Corrections hold. He was held without bond as of 1 p.m. Monday.

Jessica A. Salinas, 26, 11838 Beaumont Highway, Houston, was booked at 1:30 p.m. Thursday for bond forfeiture and two warrants for theft by check. She was held on $10,000 bond as of 1 p.m. Monday.
