Public records of persons booked into the Wharton County Jail
      Alcohol, drug charges Anthony Shelton, 45, 407 Wharton, El Campo, was booked into Wharton County Jail at 8 a.m. Sunday for driving while intoxicated (second offense), open container, no insurance, no driver's license and no seat belt. He was held on $4,500 bond as of 1 p.m. Monday.
