Who will be the Business Person of the Year?

The Wharton Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture is now accepting nominations for the Business Person of the Year.

The recipient will be honored at our 89th annual banquet, which will be Tuesday, March 11, at the Wharton Community Civic Center. The social hour will begin at 6 p.m., with the banquet following at 7 p.m.

The entry deadline is noon Friday, Jan. 18.

This award is for chamber members and by chamber members. The recipient must reflect

excellence in business practices, business ethics, and service to our community and our Chamber of Commerce.

Here is how to make a nomination:

Nominations will be accepted only from members of the chamber.

The nominee must also be a member of the chamber.

State the name of a nominee, his or her place or work, and how we can contact him or her.

Write why you think your nominee deserves this award.
