Burglaries, thefts

Burglary of a habitation - Reported in the 1000 block of FM 442, Wharton, between 7:15 a.m. and 12 p.m. Tuesday. A laptop computer, cell phone and handgun valued at $3,750 were reported stolen.

Theft - Reported in the 9600 block of CR 153, Boling, between 4 p.m. Monday and 3:55 p.m. Tuesday. Tires and wheels valued at $400 were reported stolen.

Theft - Reported at Country Club Apartments, 510 Old Caney Road, Wharton, at 5:30 a.m. Monday. Wheels valued at $1,500 were reported stolen.

Burglary of a building - Reported in the 9600 block of CR 153, Hungerford, between 12:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. Monday. A chop saw, cutting torch, air wrenches and other items valued at $3,155 were reported stolen.

Theft - Reported at U.S. 59 and CR 227, Hungerford, between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday. Batteries valued at $1,125 were reported stolen.

Theft - Reported in the 9600 block of CR 153, Wharton, at 12:30 a.m. Monday. A utility trailer valued at $2,500 was reported stolen.

Unlawful use of a motor vehicle - Reported in the 3500 block of River Glen Road, Wharton, at 12:30 a.m. Monday. A Ford F-150 was reported stolen and recovered.

Burglary of a vehicle - Reported at Riverbend Apartments, 2500 Junior College Blvd., Wharton, between 10 a.m. Jan. 5 and 10 a.m. Sunday. A purse and contents valued at $250 was reported stolen. Theft - Reported in the 300 block of CR 165, Boling, at 11:59 p.m. Jan. 5. A revolver valued at $600 was reported stolen.

Assaults

Class A assault - Three incidents reported in the 300 block of Mahan Avenue, Wharton, between 2:50 a.m. and 2:57 a.m. Tuesday.

Class A assault - Reported at Briar Pointe Apartments, 1717 Briar Lane, Wharton, between 4:05 p.m. and 4:10 p.m. Tuesday.

Class A assault - Reported in the 9100 block of Texas 60, East Bernard, at 8 p.m. Monday.

Assault-family violence - Reported in the 200 block of CR 229, Hungerford, between 1 a.m. and 1:29 a.m. Jan. 5.

Criminal mischief

Criminal mischief - Reported in the 3100 block of East Alabama, Wharton, between 12:30 p.m. and 12:50 p.m. Jan. 5.

Other

Forgery - Reported in the 700 block of Church Street, East Bernard, between 9:55 a.m. Dec. 21, 2007 and8 a.m. Tuesday.
