Crimes reported to local law enforcement agencies

Burglaries, thefts

Theft - Reported at BJ's Mini Mart, 320 E. Milam St., Wharton, at 12:45 p.m. Sunday.

Theft - Reported in the 100 block of East Alabama Street, Wharton, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday. Currency of $500 was reported stolen.

Theft - Reported in the 100 block of Mockingbird Lane, Wharton, between 6:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday. A bike valued at $110 was reported stolen.

Theft - Reported at McDonald's, 1404 N. Richmond Road, Wharton, between 3 a.m. and 3:20 a.m. Friday. Currency was reported stolen.

Theft - Two cases reported in the 5000 block of Texas 60 North, East Bernard, between 5 p.m. Dec. 31 and 8:30 a.m. Thursday. Antifreeze, an electric fuel pump and other items valued at $1,190 were reported stolen.

Theft - Reported in the 2800 block of Alabama, Wharton, between 3 p.m. Dec. 31 and 5 p.m. Jan. 1. Tires and rims valued at $1,200 were reported stolen.

Assaults

Aggravated assault - Reported in the 800 block of Branch Street, Wharton, at 9:05 p.m. Sunday.

Class A assault - Reported at Riverbend Apartments, 2500 Junior College Blvd., Wharton, at 1:57 a.m. Sunday.

Aggravated assault - Reported at the In & Out Food Mart, 1125 W. Spanish Camp Road, Wharton, at 5:55 p.m. Sunday.

Class A assault - Reported in the 1000 block of East Boling Highway, Wharton, at 6:32 p.m. Friday.

Class A assault - Reported in the 1600 block of North Alabama Road, Wharton, on Friday.

Class C assault - Reported in the 600 block of West Burleson Street, Wharton, at 9:24 p.m. Friday.

Assault-family violence - Reported in the 100 block of CR 255, Egypt, between 12:30 a.m. and 1:05 a.m. Jan. 1.

Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon - Reported in the 100 block of CR 255, Egypt, between 12:30 a.m. and 1:05 a.m. Jan. 1.

Class A assault - Reported in the 100 block of CR 255, Egypt, between 12:30 a.m. and 1:05 a.m. Jan. 1.

Criminal mischief

Criminal mischief - Reported in the 1400 block of Harris Street, Wharton, between 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday. Tires valued at $700 were reported damaged.

Forgery - Reported at the 786 Truck Stop, 100400 U.S. 59 North, Hungerford, at 7:40 p.m. Dec. 31.
