Ann Glasser

Ann Glasser, 76, was born in Clodine on Nov. 3, 1931 to Pauline Kosik and Peter Talafuse. She passed away on Friday, Jan. 4, 2008 in Wharton.

Mrs. Glasser is survived by her husband of 49 years, Francis R. Glasser of Wharton; sons, Mike Glasser of Hungerford and Mark Glasser and his wife Jan, of San Antonio; sisters, Elsie Mock of Houston and Mary Ann Kainer of El Campo; grandchildren, Zachary and Hannah Glasser of San Antonio; along with numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Joe and Peter Talafuse; sisters, Dorothy Andrejczak, Elizabeth Laxton and Katy Brandl.

A rosary was recited at 6 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008 at St. John's Catholic Church in Hungerford, where a Mass of Christian Burial was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 7, 2008. Interment followed in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
