Turnage, Krenek wed in Tennessee ceremony

Tristan Brynn Turnage of Maury City, Tenn., and Jonathan Allen Krenek of Egypt were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007.
Rev. Henry Rachunek of Texas and Rev. Rowdy Davis of Tennessee officiated at the doublering ceremony held at Archer's Chapel Church in Halls, Tenn.
Tristan is the daughter of Pete and Dean Turnage of Maury City, Tenn. She is the granddaughter of Rita Turnage and Virginia Tritt, both of Maury City, Tenn.
Jonathan is the son of Tim and Phyllis Krenek of Egypt. He is the grandson of Marcus and Eleanor Spacek of Boling and the late George and Vlasta Krenek, formerly of Egypt.
The church was decorated with candles, greenery and flowers.
Musicians were Kylie Turnage, Lauren Hughes and Logan Lee. Musical selections included "Find Your Wings," "Canon in D," "Bridal Chorus," "A Page Turned" and "The Wedding March."
Escorted to the altar by her father, Pete Turnage, Tristan chose a Pronovias designer gown of light ivory Mikado silk featuring a strapless sweetheart neckline with horizontal tucks and adorning the bodice were pearls, sequins and bugle beads. The gown's skirt was enhanced with covered buttons down the back into the semi-cathedral length train. She wore a tiara and cathedral-length veil accented with pearls. Her bridal bouquet was fashioned from white phalaenopsis.
Maid of honor was Kim Mills of Hendersonville, Tenn. Bridal attendants were Valerie Woodruff of El Campo, sister of the groom; Kylie Turnage of Maury City, sister-in-law of the bride; Courtney David of Jackson, Tenn.; Priscilla Duvall of Bells, Tenn.; Lauren Hughes of Alamo, Tenn.; Kristina Lively of Knoxville, Tenn.; Bekah McElhannon of Franklin, Tenn.; Micah Paschall of Demopolis, Ala.; Joy Pigue of Bells, Tenn.; and Leslie Robus of St. Louis, Mo.
Attendants wore sleeveless, satin, V-neck dresses with slim skirts in cornflower blue. They carried bouquets fashioned from various flowers in shades of pink.
Flower girl was Kalee Jo Butler. Ring bearer was Mason Woodruff, nephew of the groom. Hand bell ringer was Luke Pratt.
Best man was Kevin Hoffman of Nada. Groomsmen were Travis Krenek of Egypt, brother of the groom; Nicholas Turnage of Maury City, brother of the bride; Bennie Woodruff of El Campo, brother-in-law of the groom; Dave Barham of St. Louis, Mo.; Jason Ermis of El Campo; Brandon Hughes of Alamo, Tenn.; Drew Kana of El Campo; Robby Strnadel of Hillje; Jason Supak of Taiton; and Thomas Wynn of Egypt.
Ushers were Jeff Cerny of Hungerford, Percy English, Dean Pfeffer and Garet Rawlinson, all of El Campo. Witnesses were Kevin Hoffman of Nada and Kim Mills of Hendersonville.
A Tennessee reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hank Beaird following the ceremony. On Dec. 1 a Texas reception was held at Crescent Hall at the Wharton County Youth Fairgrounds.
Registry attendant was Morgan Jenkins. Program attendants were Elli Pratt and Celeste Pate.
After eight nights at the Excellence Punta Cana in the Domincan Republic, the couple will reside in Egypt.
Tristan is a 2001 honors graduate of Crockett County High School and a 2005 graduate of Union University in Jackson, Tenn. She is a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. Tristan received a bachelor's degree in social work with a minor in business management. She is employed as a photographer.
Jonathan is a 1999 honors graduate of El Campo High School and a 2003 graduate of Texas A&M University. He is a self-employed farmer and chemical salesman.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at Archer's Chapel Fellowship Hall featuring grilled chicken, broccoli and rice casserole, salad, corn, tea and kolaches.
