Straightening the line
City of Wharton employees Danny Gaona, left, and Robert Garza, right, place sections of plastic stripping along Junior College Boulevard. The strips were melted with a propane burner to form the markings for the intersection at Junior College Boulevard, Ahldag Street and Lee's Lane. The city recently resurfaced the roadway and widened it to accommodate more traffic. The striping is just now being done to help motorists navigate the busy intersection.
