Alcohol, drug charges

Cesar J. Herrera, 32, 307 Lundy, El Campo, was booked into Wharton County Jail at 7:25 a.m. Thursday for driving while intoxicated with a child under the age of 15. He was released at 9:40 a.m. Thursday on $10,000 bond.

Jerold Jermaine Gray, 33, 200 CR 241, Wharton, was booked Tuesday for driving while intoxicated. He was released at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday on $1,000 bond.

Abel Cantero Ramirez, 26, 204 Wharton, El Campo, was booked on Tuesday for driving while intoxicated, no insurance and no driver's license. He was released at 10:55 a.m. Wednesday on $2,000 bond.

Robert I. Perez, 17, 608 Alamo, El Campo, was booked at 12:25 p.m. Monday for possession of marijuana. He was released at 8:25 p.m. Monday.

Ashley Tellison, 19, 4415 Wavertree, Missouri City, was booked at 5:11 p.m. Sunday for possession of marijuana. She was released at 8:30 a.m. Monday on $2,000 bond.

Patrick Lynn Murray, 37, 811 Marionette, El Campo, was booked at 7 a.m. Sunday for driving while intoxicated and no insurance. He was released at 11:30 a.m. Monday on $3,000 bond.

Tobias Cruces, 42, 608 Alamo, El Campo, was booked into Wharton County Jail on Dec. 22 for driving while intoxicated (third offense). He was released at 12:05 p.m. Monday on $25,000 bond.

Carl Gorden, 45, 11407 Valarno, Houston, was booked on Dec. 22 for driving while intoxicated, theft, no insurance and expired registration. He was released at 3 p.m. Tuesday on $6,000 bond.

James Edward Blair, 18, 18723 FM 1728, Boling, was booked on Dec. 22 for minor driving under the influence. He was released at 10:45 a.m. Dec. 22 on $500 bond.

Jayson David Johnson, 21, 226 Cottondale, Boling, was booked at 3:51 a.m. Dec. 22 for purchasing/furnishing alcoholic beverage for a minor. He was released at 10:20 a.m. Dec. 22 on $2,500 bond.

Assault charges

Jimmy Greenhaw Jr., 41, 808 Heights, El Campo, was booked at 7 a.m. Wednesday for assaultfamily violence. He was held on $2,500 bond as of 3 p.m. Thursday.

Marcial Sorrel, 50, 210 Country Club Dr., Wharton, was booked at 6:47 p.m. Saturday for two counts of assault-family violence. He was released Sunday on $5,000 bond.

Quinton J. Farris, 33, 819 Branch, Wharton, was booked on Dec. 21 for assault-family violence and possession of marijuana. He was released at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday on $5,000 bond.

Shawn Garcia, 17, 506 Mayfield, El Campo, was booked at 12:50 p.m. Dec. 21 for possession of marijuana. He was held on $1,000 bond as of 3 p.m. Thursday.

Zachery Lamont Daniels, 27, 126 E. Alabama St. No. C, Wharton, was booked at 10:07 p.m. Dec. 20 on two warrants for assault causing serious bodily injury and capias pro fines. He was released to Colorado County Sheriff's Department at 2:03 p.m. Dec. 22.

Burglary, theft charges

Oscar Terrazas, 23, HC 64 Box 10E, El Campo, was booked at 7 a.m. Sunday on a warrant for theft by check and for probation violation. He was held without bond as of 3 p.m. Thursday.

Taneeshia Green, 30, 3200 Ave. D, Bay City, was booked Dec. 22 for theft and forgery of a financial instrument. She was held on $25,000 bond as of 3 p.m. Thursday.

Lakendra Harris, 26, 3308 Woodbriar, Austin, was booked at 7:45 a.m. Dec. 22 for theft. She was held on $25,000 bond as of 3 p.m. Thursday.

Latoya Roberts, 26, 1205 Alice Ave., El Campo, was booked at 7:45 a.m. Dec. 22 for theft by check, capias pro fines, unsecured child and a warrant for no driver's license. She was released to El Campo Police Department at 10 a.m. Monday.

Jerry Lynn White, 41, 1524 Connie, Wharton, was booked at 11:53 p.m. Dec. 21 for burglary of a habitation. He was held on $25,000 bond as of 3 p.m. Thursday.

Other charges

Scotty Russell McLain, 29, 279 CR 239, Ganado, was booked at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday on a warrant for possession of child pornography. He was held on $15,000 bond as of 3 p.m. Thursday.

Nicholas Garcia Jr., 25, 120 Julius, El Campo, was booked at 7 a.m. Tuesday for resisting arrest, failure to identify, bond forfeiture, probation violation and public intoxication. He was held without bond as of 3 p.m. Thursday.

Jackie Lynn Vaughn, 48, 3392 Hwy. 79 North, Wichita Falls, was booked at 7:20 a.m. Monday for parole violation. He was held without bond as of 3 p.m. Thursday.

Pedro Gomez, 35, 800 Alice, El Campo, was booked at 7:45 a.m. Dec. 22 for capias pro fines, public intoxication and failure to identify. He was released at 12 p.m. Dec. 22 on $3,000 bond.

Ernest D. Calhoun, 49, 7523 Hawes, Hungerford, was booked at 12:30 p.m. Dec. 21 for two counts of endangering a child and two counts of abandoning a child. He was released at 4:15 p.m. Dec. 21 on $50,000 bond.

Victoria Valchar, 32, of Orange, was booked on Dec. 20 for fraud and probation violation. She was held as of 3 p.m. Thursday.
