Theft - Reported at Hartz Chicken, 1261 U.S. 59 A, Wharton, between 6:40 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. Dec. 21. Currency of $450 was reported stolen. Burglary of a habitation - Reported in the 1500 block of Connie Street, Wharton, at 11:12 p.m. Dec. 21. Cleared by arrest. Theft - Reported at Wharton Junior High, 1120 N. Rusk St., Wharton, on Dec. 18. A cell phone was reportedly stolen. Theft - Reported in the 2900 block of Turtle Creek Drive, Wharton, between 10:30 p.m. Dec. 15 and 8:45 a.m. Dec. 16.
