WCYF turkeys delivered Jan. 15
      WCYF turkeys which were ordered will be delivered on Tuesday, Jan. 15. Exhibitors need to pick up their birds at the Crescent Fairgrounds, Main Office Complex, from 4 to 6 p.m. Be sure to have pens, feed, water containers, lights, etc. ready to receive the poults.

      Alaska Nichols Brittney Salinas and Jeremy Nichols, both of El Campo, announce the birth of their child, a girl, born at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, at Gulf Coast Medical Center. The baby was named Alaska Baylee Nichols and weighed 7 lbs., 4 ozs.

Christian academy plans fund-raiser Jan. 26
      Faith Christian Academy is busy working on their annual Barbecue Chicken Fund-raiser Dinner scheduled for Jan. 26 at the KC Hall in Wharton. Dinner and raffle tickets are now on sale. Entertainment for the night will be provided by "Elvis," who will perform a full gospel concert.
