Seven Boling FFA members head to state competition in Huntsville

The Boling FFA Chapter participated in the highest level of competition Dec. 1 in Huntsville.
There were seven members of the Boling FFA competing at the Texas FFA State Leadership Development Events held on the campus of Sam Houston State University.
The Public Relations team finish 11th in the state out of 230 entries statewide.
Team members were Maegan Rolf, Colton Frankum, Zachary Zahradnik and Kerbe Ford.
Haley Hubenak competed in the Senior Creed Speaking contest and finished 17th out of 640 entries statewide.
The Radio Broadcasting team also finished 19th out of 574 entries statewide.
This team consisted of Kerbe Ford, Trey Kulak and Justin Henson.
These teams advanced through district and area competition to compete at the state level.
Leadership Development Events focus on creating situations for members to demonstrate their abilities in public speaking, decision making, communication and their knowledge of agriculture and the FFA organization.
