Bridal Expo event set for Feb. 17
Wharton Chamber News

One of Wharton's prize possessions is the Wharton Community Civic Center. And it certainly will be filled come Sunday, Feb. 17.

Brittany Polak, owner Polak Petals, will host the Wharton County Bridal Expo on that day. The Wharton Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture is co-sponsoring.

She will have 48 vendors inside the main hall, along with a fashion show and a bridal make-over.

Working with Brittany has been a real pleasure for us at the chamber. She is organized, creative, enthusiastic and full of ideas.

We have already warned her there is a chamber committee assignment somewhere in her future! Sooner rather than later.

The Wharton Community Civic Center is a first class facility that brings pride to this community.

The pride grows even stronger with events such as the bridal show, attracting people not only from Wharton but outside of our community.

The facility is widely used for weddings and other family events, as well as civic events. A worthy goal is to expand its use to the business community, where businesses find new customers (such as at a bridal show) and where businesses conduct their training, sales, or other meetings.

It's there for you to use.
