Holiday greetings

On Dec. 6 the Iago Junior High Student Council went to Hearthstone Assisted Living to share the Christmas Spirit. The members brought wrapped gifts to give to the 61 residents. Residents pictured include Bessie Thomas, Lucy Lopez, Dortha Bolick, Mickey Gragert and Albert McConnell. Also while there, the members sang Christmas carols and did fun exercises with the residents in the lobby. Before leaving, each student took the time to visit with every resident about past Christmas memories. The members of Iago Junior High Student Council are: President Erin Hollis, Vice-President Emma Sparkman, Secretary Lance Hlavinka, Historian Savannah Metting, Treasurer Spencer Gutierrez and eighth grade Rebekkah Rowlands and Anna Gonzales; seventh grade Abby Herndon, Adrianna Grant, Jacob Merecka, Alex Arriaga Jr.; sixth grade Kindra Hlavinka, Ben Merecka and Emily Wilkins.
