Robert Longoria

Funeral services for Fiburcio Robert Longoria, 45, of Houston, will be held at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, at Wharton Funeral Home with Deacon David Valdez officiating. Burial will follow in the Glen Flora Cemetery. A Rosary was recited Tuesday evening.

Mr. Longoria died Dec. 6, 2007 at his residence following a sudden illness. He was born on Jan. 26, 1962 in East Bernard, the son of Ernesto Longoria, Sr. and Florinda Reyna Longoria.

He was a resident of Houston for the past 20 years and was Catholic by faith.

Mr. Longoria worked as an assistant apartment manager in Houston.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Antonia Lara.

Survivors include his mother, Florinda Longoria of Eagle Lake; sisters; Maria Guadalupe Franklin of Rosharon, Adella Aguilar of Pasadena, Julia Saucedo of Needville and Rafaela Rocha of Baytown; brothers, Domingo Longoria of Hungerford, Pete Longoria, Alfred Longoria and Renee Longoria, all of Eagle Lake, Ernesto Longoria Jr. of Glen Flora, Lupe Longoria and Johnny Longoria, both of Houston, Joe Longoria and Steve Longoria, both of Egypt, David Longoria and Roy Longoria, both of Wharton and Emmitt Longoria of East Bernard; numerous nieces and nephews.
