Bulldogs suffer 62-52 loss to Tidehaven

BOLING - Boling slipped to 1-3 on the season after dropping a 62-52 decision to Tidehaven Tuesday night in The Doghouse.

Tidehaven jumped out to a 18-11 lead after the first quarter and went up 33-24 at halftime.

Boling rallied back to make it a 40- 37 game at the end of the third quarter.

The Tigers widened the gap in the fourth quarter by outscoring the Bulldogs 22-15 to win by 10.

Dennis Hemphill and B.W. McLeod scored 10 points each for the Bulldogs.

Thomas Felder, Kalin Ray and Justin Hobbs each scored eight points. Tanner Thompson added six and Dupree Taylor had two.

Hobbs also pulled down 12 rebounds and had five assists. Ray had nine rebounds. McLeod had six rebounds and five assists.

Boling's junior varsity dropped a 49- 17 decision to Tidehaven.

Jarayl Spears finished with seven points and Anselmo Muniz added six.

Boling is competing in the Sealy Invitational Tournament today and hosts Needville on Tuesday.
