EB 7th, 8th girls teams play district games against Danbury

DANBURY - East Bernard's two 8th grade and one 7th grade girls basketball teams played district games against Danbury on Monday.

The 8th grade A Team beat Danbury 18-14.

Ashley Anderson led the Brahmarretes with seven points. Carissa Orsak finished with four. Anna Srubar added three. Lauren Hlavinka scored two and Haley Gajewsky and Courtney Smith each hit free throws.

The B Team won 15-8.

Amanda Caballero finished with nine points and Addy Embesi, Adriana Caballero and Dominque Sewell scored two each.

The 7th grade team dropped a 23-18 decision to Danbury,

Amber Kieler finished with eight points. Kylie Horelica scored five, Terrayln Williams added four and Danielle Stavinoha hit a free throw.
