8th grade Bullpups post 26-14 win over East Bernard

IAGO - Iago's 8th grade boys basketball team picked up a 26-14 district win over East Bernard last Thursday afternoon.

The win was Iago's first of the season and East Bernard slipped to 1-1.

Iago jumped out to a 10-4 lead after the first quarter and went up 16-8 at halftime. The Bullpups shutout the Brahmas 4-0 in the third quarter to take a 20-8 lead. Both teams scored 6 points in the fourth quarter.

Bobby Llanes led the Bullpups with 11 points. Darion Lunford finished with 8 and Jacolby Hodges added 7.

For East Bernard, Quinton Farris scored 6.

Jessie Lopez, Eric Pribyl, Derek Rivera and Gabriel Osuna scored 2 points each.
