Lady Bulldogs dealt 51-29 setback by Royal

BOLING - The Boling girls basketball team slipped to 1-3 on the season after dropping a 51-29 decision to Royal Tuesday night in The Doghouse.

Boling fell behind 8-2 after the first quarter and 28-15 at halftime.

The Lady Falcons outscored the Lady Bulldogs 17-6 in the third quarter to go up 45-21.

Boling came back to outscore Royal 8-6 in the final eight minutes of the game.

Stephanie Rachunek led the Lady Bulldogs with 12 points, She also pulled down six rebounds and had a steal.

Ash Lunford finished with six points, 12 rebounds and two steals.

Ebony Ashley contributed with six points, four rebounds, two assits and five steals.

Janice Arriaga had three points, two rebounds and two assists, Jessica Moore scored two points and had four rebounds, two assists and six steals.

Beth Llanes had three rebounds with one steal,

..Boling is competing in the Leroy Miksch Invitational Tournament today in Needville.

The Lady Bulldogs have an open date on Dec. 4 and play in the Royal Tournament in Brookshire later in the week.
