Boling girls lose to Louise in Needville tourney NEEDVILLE - Boling's girls basketball team dropped a 43-33 decision to Louise in the first round of the Leroy Miksch Invitational Tournament at Needville Thursday afternoon in Blue Jay Gymnasium. "Turnovers and missed shots were a major factor in this game," said Boling first year coach Cynthia Clark. Boling had 33 turnovers and was 15 of 65 from the field. "Most of the shots we missed were layups," said Clark. "We have to make the easy shots and control the ball with less turnovers." "We played good defense and had 37 steals." Boling played a second round game on Friday against Tidehaven, which lost to Needville on Thursday. The Lady Bulldogs play another game in the tournament this morning.
