Brahmarettes fall to Louise LOUISE - A fourth quarter rally by East Bernard's girls fell short against Louise in last Tuesday's game at Hornet Gymnasium. Down 25-16 after the third quarter, the Brahmarettes rallied back to make it a 36-30 game before the game ended. "I thought we played with great intensity throughout the game," said EB coach Ronnie Schmidt. "We overcame some adversity several times during the game and responded well to give ourselves a chance to win at the end. "Our overall defensive effort was very good. We need to get better at our offensive execution." EB jumped out to a 8-5 lead after the first quarter but fell behind 11-10 at halftime. Tara Hlavinka and Florence Wilson scored six points each for the Brahmarettes. Robin Litvik, Paula Lopez and Hillarie Blazek finished with four points each. Roberta Pettit had three. Haley Dawson had two points and Bev Kresta hit a free throw. Katie Brown led Louise with 17 points. Gabby Foster finished with six. Kristen Maschicek and Nicole Roades scored four each.
