Lady Tigers slip to 2-2 after loss to Navasota
      NAVASOTA - Wharton's girls basketball team slipped to 2-2 on the season after dropping a 61-55 decision at state ranked Navasota last Tuesday. Navasota jumped out to a 20-12 lead after the first quarter but Wharton rallied back in the second quarter to make it 32-29 Navasota at halftime.

      Boling's junior varsity girls basketball team dropped a 24-23 decision to Bellville to fall to 0-2 on the season. Paige Bucek led the Lady Bulldogs with 12 points. Laura Kueker finished with six. Kayla Montgomery added three and Bianca Arriaga had a field goal.
