A holiday first
Area youngsters get a taste of something that most have never, and may never again, get a chance to play with: snow. It was courtesy of Cowboy Christmas, held Saturday in downtown Wharton. The enthusiasm over the snow was not dampened by cold temperatures, overcast skies and rain, all of which plagued the festival. Organizers said they were pleased with the turnout, considering the conditions.
