Alcohol, drug charges

Sharon Chaney, 47, 447 Rabbit Run, Victoria, was booked into Wharton County Jail at 8:20 a.m. Monday for driving while intoxicated and a warrant for theft by check. She was held on $2,500 bond as of 12:30 p.m. Monday.

Christopher Aguiree, 24, 209 W. Sixth, El Campo, was booked at 8:20 a.m. Monday for driving while intoxicated, expired driver's license and no insurance. He was released at 11:10 a.m. Monday on $3,000 bond.

Elisa Tavarez Estrada, 52, 212 Lincoln, El Campo, was booked at 8:36 a.m. Sunday for permitting an intoxicated person on a license premises. She was released at 12:15 p.m. Monday on $2,500 bond.

Samantha Martinez, 17, 501 Pierce, El Campo, was booked at 9:31 p.m. Sunday for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and minor in possession of tobacco. She was held on $13,000 bond as of 12:30 p.m. Monday.

John Patrick Pesina, 38, 1213 Vallejo, El Campo, was booked Sunday for driving while intoxicated (second offense). He was released at 10 a.m. Sunday on $5,000 bond.

Edwin Durham, 20, of Victoria, was booked on Friday for possession of marijuana. He was released at 11 a.m. Saturday on $2,500 bond.

Henry Schreiber, 47, 2215 A Bunton D., El Campo, was booked on Friday for driving while intoxicated and no insurance. He was released at 11 a.m. Friday on $3,000 bond.

Michael White, 48, 5107 Lynd Hurst, Houston, was booked on Friday for two counts of driving while intoxicated with a child under the age of 15, speeding, no driver's license and two counts of possession of marijuana with a child under the age of 15. He was held on $13,500 bond as of 12:30 p.m. Monday.

Micheal Moreno, 21, 609 Rusk, Wharton, was booked at 11:25 p.m. Friday for possession of marijuana, evading arrest and resisting arrest. He was held on $7,500 bond as of 12:30 p.m. Monday.

Willie Elroy Bonds, 31, Box 1334, Shiner, was booked at 12:45 p.m. Friday for possession of marijuana and a warrant for contempt of court. He was held without bond as of 12:30 p.m. Monday.

Burglary, theft charges

Rachel Lynn Lara, 32, 1102 N. Washington, El Campo, was booked Friday on a theft warrant. She was released at 10:40 a.m. Friday on $10,000 bond.

Tyson Paul Hardy, 28, 900 Ave. D, Bay City, was booked at 4:30 p.m. Thursday for theft and capias pro fines. He was released at 3:15 p.m. Friday on $8,000 bond.

Monica A. Ramirez, 25, 847 Ustynik, Wharton, was booked at 8:10 p.m. Thursday on a warrant for theft. She was released at 11:15 a.m. Friday on $500 bond.

Assault charges

Kevin Gooden, 35, 5523 FM 1096, Wharton, was booked at 2:15 a.m. Sunday for assault-family violence. He was released at 10:15 a.m. Sunday on $2,500 bond.

Erik D. Parson, 33, 3207 Blackshear, Wharton, was booked at 11:25 p.m. Thursday for Class C assault. He was released at 9:45 a.m. Friday on $500 bond.

Other charges

David Lynn Palmer, 33, 1510 Martin Luther King Blvd., Wharton, was booked at 12:10 p.m. Monday for parole violation. He was held as of 12:30 p.m. Monday.

Keisha Sanders, 20, 719 Spanish Camp, Wharton, was booked Sunday for capias pro fines. She was released on Monday after serving her time.

Joe Perez, 41, 414 Correll, Wharton, was booked at 11:25 p.m. Friday for capias pro fines. He was released at 8:50 a.m. Monday after serving his time.

Arthur Callis, 50, 1801 Ave. C, Bay City, was booked at 9:27 a.m. Friday for probation violation. He was held on $20,000 bond as of 12:30 p.m. Monday.
