Letter to the Editor:

Pornograpy Awareness Week and the White Ribbon Against Pornography (WRAP) Campaign will take place in the communities around the county from Sunday, Oct. 28 through Sunday, Nov. 4. The campaign is an opportunity for all of us to demonstrate that hardcore pornography is not acceptable. Be aware of the increase in pornography in this country by those who abuse the use of the Internet and e-mail.

Statistics show that millions of dollars are spent on articles that pollute the mind and soul. Books, magazines, movies, phone, art and videos are only a few of the ways this trash destroys the mind. Monitor TV viewing in your household. Speak out against pornography. Our Catholic Daughter of Americas Court No. 1990 will participate in the WRAP Campaign by pinning white ribbons on all parishioners before all Masses in the four area parishes the weekend of Oct. 27 and 28.
