Velma Lee Anderson of Wharton died Oct. 27, 2007 at the age of 82. She was born May 24, 1925 in Pledger to the late Robert Willis Sr. and Estell James Watkins. Hortencia Garcia Funeral services are pending with Wharton Funeral Home for Hortencia Pena Garcia, 83, of Katy, and a former resident of Houston.
