Assaults

Class A assault - Reported in the 400 block of Helms Avenue, Wharton, at 7:40 p.m. Sunday. Cleared by arrest.

Aggravated assault - Reported in the 900 block of Maple Street, Wharton, at 9:48 p.m. Sunday. Cleared by arrest.

Assault-family violence - Reported at Wharton Inn, 1920 N. Richmond Road, Wharton, between 10:35 p.m. and 10:36 p.m. Oct. 20.

Class A assault - Reported at Red River Apartments, 1821 Red River Avenue, Wharton, at 2:20 p.m. Oct. 19.

Aggravated assault - Reported in the 500 block of East Elm Street, Wharton, between 10:50 a.m. and 10:52 a.m. Oct. 17. Cleared by arrest.

Burglaries, thefts

Burglary of a habitation and burglary of a vehicle - Reported in the 500 block of Avenue A, Wharton, at 2:09 a.m. Tuesday. Clothing and a cell phone were reported stolen.

Theft - Reported at Chili's, 1265 U.S. 59 Loop, Wharton, between 11:20 p.m. and 11:24 p.m. Tuesday. Cleared and filed in Municipal Court.

Burglary of a habitation - Reported in the 500 block of Walnut Street, Wharton, between 7 p.m. and 7:04 p.m. Tuesday.

Theft - Reported in the 1200 block of U.S. 59 Loop, Wharton, between 7 p.m. Oct. 19 and 4:35 p.m. Monday. A cell phone valued at $200 was reported stolen.

Theft - Reported in the 100 block of Country Club Drive, Wharton, between 4 p.m. Oct. 18 and 6:21 p.m. Monday. A bike valued at $209.98 was reported stolen.

Theft - Reported in the 900 block of West Burleson Street, Wharton, between 6 p.m. Oct. 20 and 8:30 a.m. Sunday. A pit bulldog was reported stolen.

Burglary of a building and unlawful use of a motor vehicle - Reported off CR 211, Hungerford, between 6 p.m. Oct. 19 and 9 a.m. Oct. 20. A four-wheeler valued at $11,000 was reported stolen, and a John Deere 4640 tractor and a gate were reportedly damaged.

Burglary of a building - Reported in the 1000 block of Main, East Bernard, between 10 p.m. Oct. 18 and 8:45 a.m. Oct. 19. A door was reportedly damaged, and alcohol was reportedly stolen.

Theft - Reported at Texas Home Health, 2918 N. Richmond Road, Wharton, at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 17. An Internet wireless card, cell phone, purse and contents were reportedly stolen.

Criminal mischief

Criminal mischief - Reported at AMS Ambulance Service, 322 N. Fulton St., Wharton, between 1:15 p.m. and 11 p.m. Oct. 17. A 2005 Ford pickup was reportedly damaged.

Criminal mischief - Reported at Pekar's Body Shop, 2720 N. Richmond Road, Wharton, between 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Oct. 16. A 2004 Chevrolet pickup was reportedly damaged.
