Doris Dean

Funeral services for Doris Faye Dean, 69, of East Bernard, will be held at 11 a.m. today, Saturday, at New Faith Church with Pastor C. Spears officiating. Burial will follow in Powell Point Cemetery in Kendleton.

Mrs. Dean died Oct. 23, 2007 at Memorial Hermann Southwest Houston Hospital. She was born June 22, 1938 in La Grange to Bennie and Aurelia Lovie James Hayes Sr.

Survivors include husband, James Willie Dean of Austin; brothers, Kermis Hayes and Rev. James Otis Hayes, both of East Bernard.
