Wireless exposition coming to Wharton

Premier Wireless, Wharton's local Sprint Nextel dealer, will host a Wireless Expo and Grant Writing Seminar.

It will be held Thursday, Nov. 1 at the Wharton Civic Center.

"It is exclusively for Wharton County and the surrounding area's government agencies, schools, hospitals, utilities and other public sector agencies," said Lea Bogle, owner of Premier Wireless.

"This workshop will give you the resources to improve the development of interoperability and emergency response plans with the latest technology."

The seminar will be from 1 to 4 p.m. and is free. It will be in the civic center's pre-function room.

After the seminar, the Wireless Expo will continue for area businesses from 5 to 7 p.m., displaying the latest in wireless technology. Premier Wireless' local office is located in the Eastgate Plaza on Boling Highway.
