Alcohol, drug charges

Lindsey L. Mclendon, 25, 182 Lubbock, Point Comfort, was booked into Wharton County Jail at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday for driving while intoxicated. She was released at 11:30 a.m. Thursday on $2,000 bond.

Burtman Kearney Jr., 20, 1318 Harris, Wharton, was booked at 7 p.m. Wednesday for possession of marijuana. He was held on $2,500 bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Erwin D. Armstrong, 29, 1215 Kingston, Wharton, was booked at 7 p.m. Wednesday for delivery of marijuana and no drivers license. He was released at 11:45 a.m. Thursday on $5,500 bond.

Bernard Salinas, 48, 817 CR 469, El Campo, was booked at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday for driving while intoxicated. He was released at 11:15 a.m. Thursday on $1,500 bond.

Marcus Ruckett, 23, 2910 Old Lane City Road, Wharton, was booked at 11:19 a.m. Wednesday for possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone. He was held on $10,000 bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Alfredia Kimble, 24, 2910 Old Lane City Road, Wharton, was booked at 10:17 a.m. Wednesday for possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone. She was held on $10,000 bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Perry Lynn Bunn, 47, 512 Depot, El Campo, was booked at 8:32 a.m. Wednesday for possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication. He was released at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday on $1,000 bond.

Matthew S. Norton, 19, 1821 Klauke, Rosenberg, was booked on Tuesday for possession of marijuana. He was released at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday on $1,000 bond.

Assault charges

Eugene Moore, 71, 312 Lincoln, Wharton, was booked at 1:10 p.m. Wednesday for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was released at 1:50 p.m. Wednesday on $2,500 bond.

Gabriel Mancias, 40, 608.5 August, El Campo, was booked at 4:39 p.m. Monday for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was held on $75,000 bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Burglary, theft charges Jenni Moreno, 20, 407 E. Correll, El Campo, was booked at 10:08 a.m. Thursday for theft. She was released at 11:55 a.m. Thursday on $1,500 bond.

Julio Ceasar May, 28, 1010 Morton, Palacios, was booked Tuesday for unlawful use of a motor vehicle and immigration hold. He was held as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Roger Ray Vernon, 51, 216 Olive St., El Campo, was booked at 7:53 p.m. Monday for theft. He was held on $50,000 bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Other charges

Mario Garcia, 24, 620 Doris, El Campo, was booked at 8:36 a.m. Thursday for motion to revoke probation, driving while license invalid, unrestrained child, no seat belt and parking in roadway. He was held without bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Anthony Woods, 28, 2683 South Texas 60, Bay City, was booked at 8:04 a.m. Thursday on three Matagorda County warrants for endangering a child. He was held as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Leo Bray Hudlin, 28, 1010 Marionette, El Campo, was booked at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday for criminal trespass (conviction). He was held as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Jimmy Gaona, 28, 3615 CR 448, Wharton, was booked at 11:38 a.m. Wednesday on two warrants for indecency with a child. He was held on $40,000 bond as of 12 p.m. Thursday.

Edna Pineda Mendoza, 37, 941 Sherwood, Shepherd, was booked at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday for engaging in organized criminal activity. She was released at 9:59 p.m. Tuesday on $25,000 bond.

Julio Vasquez, 21, 4712 Red Bud St., Rosenberg, was booked at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday for bond forfeiture. He was released at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday after serving his time.

Jamiel Ray Robinson, 21, 719 Marionette St., El Campo, was booked at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday for probation violation. He was released at 6:25 p.m. Tuesday on $50,000 bond.

Jail population as of 12 p.m. Thursday was 134 prisoners.
