Wharton runs at Stafford meet

STAFFORD - In last Saturday's Stafford Cross Country Invitational, Wharton runner Andrew Hernandez finished 60th with a 3-mile time of 24:42.

Kris Kubecka was 63rd with a 25:31 and Ryan Salazar was 64th with a 26:31.

Wharton competes at the District 24-3A Championships next Monday at Royal High School in Brookshire.
