Eddie Robinson

Funeral services for Eddie Mae Robinson, 88, of Beasley, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Little Zion Baptist Church in Kendleton with Rev. Richard Booker officiating. Burial will follow at Powell Point Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Robinson died Oct. 13,2007 at Rosenberg Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was bom May 27, 1919 in East Bernard to Ed and Aldonia Wright Roberson.

She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith.

Survivors include son, Lloyd Robinson Jr. of Jasper; daughters, Emma Jean Hayes of East Bernard; sister, Ophelia Johnson of Wallis; 15 grandchildren, 31 great- grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Robinson; sons, Irby Dean and Anthony Roy Robinson; and daughter, Judith Faye Robinson.
