Pioneer Band in concert this Thursday in WCJC theater

The WCJC Pioneer Band will be starting off its fall 2007 concert season with an exciting first concert at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18, in the Horton Foote Theater in the Fine Arts Building on the Wharton Campus.

Admission is $4 to the general public; students, performance series ticket holders, faculty and staff will be admitted free. For more information call the Fine Arts office at 532-6300.

Band selections will feature songs from rock-n-roll legends like Steppenwolf, ABBA, The Association, Queen and many more.

The concert will be performed just like a real rock concert. There will be special effects, back ground singers and just plain good music.

If one lived through the 60s, 70's and/or 80s, this concert and music will take you back to those good ol' days.

There will also be an appearance by a newly created local celebrity.
