Crimes reported to local law enforcement agencies

Assaults

Assault-family violence - Reported in the 4000 block of Walters Road, Wharton, between 7:15 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Class C assault - Reported in the 6300 block of FM 1299, Wharton, between 3:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Assault-family violence - Reported at Hungerford Hall between 10:35 p.m. and 10:40 p.m. Sept. 29.

Burglaries, thefts

Theft - Reported in the 100 block of Holiness Church Lane, Wharton, between 12 p.m. Monday and 7:15 a.m. Tuesday. A bike valued at $150 was reported stolen.

Theft - Reported in the 300 block of Texas, Boling, between 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday. A Pit bulldog valued at $350 was reported stolen.

Burglary of a vehicle - Reported in the 400 block of Correll Avenue, Wharton, between 9:30 p.m. Monday and 7:15 a.m. Tuesday. A CD player and 40 CDs valued at $600 were reported stolen.

Burglary of a habitation - Reported in the 600 block of Koehl, Wharton, between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday. A digital camera, a 20- gauge shotgun, a 30/30 rifle, a Playstation II and a box of ammunition valued at $1,800 were reported stolen.

Burglary of a building - Reported in the 100 block of Northington Road, Egypt, between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. Monday.

Burglary of a vehicle - Reported in the 400 block of Washington Avenue, Wharton, between 10:30 p.m. Sunday and 7:13 a.m. Monday. A CD player valued at $120 was reported stolen.

Theft - Reported at the East Bernard Country Store, 955 U.S. 90-A, East Bernard, between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. Oct. 6. Currency of $1,200 was reported stolen.

Criminal mischief

Criminal mischief - Reported in the 600 block of Salisbury Street, Wharton, between 5 p.m. Sept. 29 and 3:10 p.m. Oct. 6. A tractor and four-wheeler reportedly received $500 worth of damage.
