Boling JV football team drops 36-6 decision to Palacios Sharks

BOLING - Boling's junior varsity football team came out on the short end of a 36-6 score to Palacios Thursday night Bulldog Stadium.

Palacios jumped out to a 14-0 lead after the first quarter and added two more touchdowns in the second to go up 28-0 at halftime.

The Sharks got another touchdown and 2-point conversion in the third quarter to make it 36-0.

Jarayl Spears scored Boling's lone touchdown on a 14-yard run with 4:30 remaining in the fourth quarter.

The 2-point conversion try failed, leaving Palacios with a 36-6 lead.

Defensive standouts included Brent Stidevent, Dustin Ortiz and Justin Henson.

Boling, now 2-2 on the season, hosts Danbury next Thursday in the District 27-2A opener.
