Brahma JV drops 47-8 decision to Van Vleck

VAN VLECK - East Bernard's junior varsity football team dropped a 47-8 decision to Van Vleck Thursday afternon at Burl McKinney Stadium.

The Leopards jumped out to a 14-0 lead after the first quarter and added 14 more points in the second to go up 28-0 at halfitme.

Van Vleck added two more touchdowns in the third quarter to make it 41- 0.

The Leopards picked up their last touchdown in the fourth quarter to go up 47-0.

C.J. Clifton scored the Brahmas lone touchdown on a 4-yard run before the game ended.

Jermaine Perkins added the 2-point conversion to bring the score to 47-8.

The Brahmas forced two turnovers but couldn't capitalize on them.

East Bernard, now 1-1 in District 27-2A play and 3-3 on the season, hosts Hitchcock next Thursday.
