Blue Team loses to Royal

Wharton's 7th grade Blue Team dropped a 6-0 decision to Royal in Thursday's District 24-3A opener at the Wharton Junior High Gymnasium.

Offensive standouts included Ramon Frazier, Abraham Ventura, Austin Cruz, Antwan Burkhalter and C.J. Roberts.

Defensive standouts included Charles Montalvo, Claudio Rojas, Blake Niemer, Tyler Perkins and Alexander Durgan.

Wharton slipped to 1-3 on the season
