New WC 4-H Council members inducted

      At the recent 4-H Awards Banquet, the 2007-2008 Wharton County 4-H Council Officers were inducted and introduced. These individuals were elected in May by members of the Wharton County 4-H Council.

4-H members participate in Dairy

      Five Wharton County youth gave up sleeping in on Saturday morning to hook up their trailers, load up their dairy cattle, and head up to the Fayette County Fair. Kennedy Couvillion entered the Pee Wee Showmanship contest and came out of the arena with a blue ribbon and a bag full of goodies.
