Eric James Villarreal, 28, 8607 Lamppost, Houston, was booked into Wharton County Jail at 9 a.m. Monday for driving while intoxicated (conviction). He was held as of 12 p.m. Monday.

Pedro Ramirez Tello, 29, 302 Higbee, El Campo, was booked Tuesday for driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, no drivers license, no insurance and failure to report an accident. He was held on $6,000 bond as of 12 p.m. Monday.

Darrel Edwards Jr., 25, 513 W. Caney, Wharton, was booked at 2 a.m. Monday for possession of marijuana. He was released at 9:30 a.m. Monday on $2,000 bond.

Tracee E. Robinson, 18, 1510 Barfield, Wharton, was booked at 2 a.m. Monday for possession of marijuana and minor in possession (alcohol). She was held on $2,500 bond as of 12 p.m. Monday.

Mark E. Trent, 50, 3735 Straight Fork, Houston, was booked at 9:35 p.m. Saturday for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released at 9:35 a.m. Sunday on $5,500 bond.

Larry Falcon, 45, 409 Mayfield, El Campo, was booked at 8 a.m. Saturday for driving while intoxicated (third offense), driving while license invalid and unrestrained child. He was held on $8,000 bond as of 12 p.m. Monday.

Cara Jaylyn Braune, 20, 500 S. Caney, Wharton, was booked at 10:20 p.m. Friday for possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone, possession of marijuana in a drug-free zone and defective equipment. She was held on $18,000 bond as of 12 p.m. Monday.

Padlo Efrain Perez, 22, P.O. Box 48/5th and Blair, Midfield, was booked on Friday for driving while intoxicated. He was released at 10:40 a.m. Friday on $1,500 bond.

Arenthia Rasbid, 28, 135 Correll, Wharton, was booked Thursday for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released at 3:40 p.m. Thursday on $2,000 bond.

Isiah Terrell Stevens, 30, 531 Northwest 16th St., Florida City, Fla., was booked at 11:20 a.m. Thursday for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held on $2,000 bond as of 12 p.m. Monday.

Assault charges

Renne Rivera, 42, 410 Louis St., East Bernard, was booked at 1:25 a.m. Sunday for assault-family violence and capias pro fines. He was held as of 12 p.m. Monday on $2,500 in bonds and an $87 fine.

Michael Alan Acuna Jr., 19, 207 6th St. No. E, El Campo, was booked at 8:15 a.m. Saturday for assault-family violence and minor in possession. He was released at 10:48 a.m. Saturday on $3,000 bond.

Juan Carlos Hernandez, 28, Route 1 Box 31, Boling, was booked at 1:20 a.m. Saturday for two counts of assault-family violence. He was released at 11:25 a.m. Saturday on $5,000 bond.

Carlos Hernandez, 46, Route 1 Box 31, Boling, was booked at 1:20 a.m. Saturday for two counts of assault-family violence and interfering with an emergency call. He was released at 3:55 p.m. Saturday on $7,500 bond.

Epifania Lynn Moreno, 25, 501 Willow, Wharton, was booked at 12:45 a.m. Saturday for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She was released at 11 a.m. Saturday on $15,000 bond.

Other charges

Guadalupe Vasquez Jr., 26, 2009 Seabourne, Wharton, was booked Monday for two counts of failure to appear, failure to maintain financial responsibility, speeding and expired motor vehicle inspection. He was held as of 12 p.m. Monday.

Francisco Javier Nino, 50, 205 Church St., El Campo, was booked at 7:50 a.m. Sunday for probation violation, no insurance and expired drivers license. He was held without bond as of 12 p.m. Monday.

Israel Rocha Martinez Sr., 52, 602 Armory Road, El Campo, was booked at 8:53 p.m. Saturday for evading arrest with a vehicle, no motorcycle drivers license, no insurance and excessive acceleration. He was released at 9 p.m. Sunday on $6,500 bond.

Shirley Piqott, 59, 301 Woodway, Victoria, was booked at 1:15 a.m. Sunday for evading with a vehicle. She was released at 9:05 a.m. Sunday on $5,000 bond.

Louis D. Salazar, 20, 9823 CR 71, Lane City, was booked at 1:20 a.m. Saturday for evading arrest with a vehicle. He was released at 10:09 a.m. Saturday on $5,000 bond.

Amber Perks, 19, 702 Washington, El Campo, was booked Friday for probation violation. She was held without bond as of 12 p.m. Monday.

Wayne Hewitt, 54, 412 Clay St., Eagle Lake, was booked at 7:16 a.m. Thursday for failure to appear. He was released Friday.
