'In Custody' Clarification

Darlene Garza said her son's name appeared in the In Custody section of the Sept. 22 issue of the Journal-Spectator - and it gave folks the wrong impression.

Justin Garza, 18, was listed under the "burglary, theft" heading as being booked in on Sept. 16 for a burglary of habitation warrant.

Darlene said her son was actually being held in jail on an Austin State Hospital hold and was not booked in on fresh charges, as some folks apparently assumed.
