Assaults

Aggravated assault - Reported in the 7500 block of Colorado Street, Hungerford, at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Class A assault - Reported in the 600 block of Branch Street, Wharton, at 8:42 a.m. Monday.

Aggravated assault - Reported in the 1000 block of East Caney Street, Wharton, between 1 p.m. and 2:23 p.m. Monday.

Class A assault - Two incidents reported in the 400 block of Tennie Street, Wharton, between 5:15 p.m. and 5:34 p.m. Monday.

Class C assault - Reported in the 700 block of Branch Street, Wharton, at 12:10 p.m. Sunday. Cleared and filed in Municipal Court.

Class A assault - Two incidents reported at the Country Club Apartments, 510 Old Caney Road No. 26, Wharton, between 9:25 p.m. and 9:41 p.m. Sept. 22. One case was cleared by arrest.

Felony assault - Reported in the 100 block of Elm Street, Boling, between 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Sept. 15.

Burglaries, thefts

Burglary of a habitation - Reported in the 100 block of South Cloud Street, Wharton, between 4 p.m. Tuesday and 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. A computer and monitor valued at $900 was reported stolen.

Burglary of a vehicle - Reported in the 2700 block of CR 239, Wharton, between 6 p.m. Sunday and 2 p.m. Tuesday. A car stereo was reported stolen.

Burglary of a habitation - Reported in the 400 block of Joseph Street, East Bernard, between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Monday. Coins, a digital camera and a bike valued at $429 were reported stolen.

Theft - Reported at H-E-B, 1616 N. Alabama Road, Wharton, between 5:20 p.m. Sunday and 1 a.m. Monday. Cleared and filed in Municipal Court.

Theft - Reported at Waste Management, 707 Nelson Lane, Wharton, between 10 a.m. Sept. 19 and 10 a.m. Monday. Currency of $600 was reported stolen.

Burglary of a building - Reported at Divas Salon, 206 N. Richmond Road, Wharton, at 3 p.m. Sept. 22. A curling iron, flat iron and hair dryer valued at $301 were reported stolen, along with $100 currency.

Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle - Reported at the Riverbend Apartments, 2500 Junior College Blvd., Wharton, at 6:45 a.m. Sept. 22. A 2007 Honda Accord was reported stolen and recovered.

Burglary of a vehicle - Reported at the Wharton Vet Clinic, 1518 Texas 60 South, Wharton, between 10:30 p.m. Sept. 21 and 12:40 a.m. Sept. 22. Currency of $1,500, credit cards and other items were reported stolen from a 2002 Chevrolet van.

Burglary of a building - Reported at Larry's Mexican Restaurant, 210 S. Richmond Road, Wharton, between 9 p.m. Sept. 21 and 5:51 a.m. Sept. 22. Currency of $247.13 and $248 worth of tequila were reported stolen.

Burglary of a vehicle - Two incidents reported at Caddies, 1115 E. Milam St., Wharton, between 7:30 p.m. and 11:35 p.m. Sept. 21.

Criminal mischief

Criminal mischief - Reported in the 7500 block of Colorado Street, Hungerford, at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. A Hyundai Elantra reportedly received $1,500 worth of damage.

Criminal mischief - Reported at Baby Girl & Co., 1721 Carter St., Wharton, at 7:40 a.m. Wednesday. A glass window was reported broken.
